Lake Granby in Grand County, Colorado — the third-largest body of water in the state. It was created by the erection of Granby Dam in 1950 as part of the Colorado-Big Thompson Project. The lake is bounded by approximately 40 miles of shoreline. It is popular with anglers and is continually stocked with trout and kokanee salmon.
